- I have patored over 5 decades without working outside and without a break. My present church, I organized over 34 years ago in my home. In January 2011 God told me to leave my suburban home and move to the middle of Detroit. Most of the people were left behind in the suburbs. The rest of us are giving our full effort to the building of hope and encouragement in the people of Detroit. We are on the streets working weekly. We will not stop until Detroit has fallen under the influence of our Lord Jesus Christ. Website is cljtv.com
- Share your Greatest need or desire.
- To see the entire city of Detroit come to God, then region, state, and nation. To have the resources to properly do the job as we need equipment to clean streets, mow lawns, trim trees, etc. and purchase buildings for securing food, clothing, and having a place for homeless people to come.
- Share a testimony of prayer.
- Doctor said my kidneys had blown out and shut down; as a result, surgery was imminent. I defied the doctor by telling him my staff would be praying for me later that morning and I would be healed. I informed him that I would be in my pulpit preaching the following Sunday morning and was going to keep an appt. to play racquetball the following Wednesday. He angrily left the room and slammed the door. I kept the appts. even with a bag tied to my leg and today my kidneys are normal. Thanks to God for my healing.
- Our prayer calls are for 1 hour on Thursdays and Fridays at 7pm EST. You may call in or listen online. Detailed information will always be posted. Do you plan on attending the call? Will you spread the word?
- Street cleaning is until dark on Thursdays but will call in or listen as schedule allows. I will spread the word.
