- Sheron Jackson is a health professional, community advocate, and ambassador of goodwill residing in Houston, Texas. She is a widow and the mother of three children, Omar, Anastasia and Courtney. She grew up in Dallas, Texas, and graduated Lincoln High School in 1973. Completed Dallas Vocational Nursing School with license to practice nursing in 1975. Relocated to Houston, Texas in 1978. Received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration with strong emphasis in Public Affairs in 1986. Completed 16 hours Post-Baccalaureate in Paralegal Studies. Currently pursing a MBA in global management
Sheron started her health career at the age of 16. She has thirty-six years of healthcare experience. Her healthcare proficiency is multidisciplinary to include direct patient care, Operating Room Surgical Technologist, Respiratory Therapy, Anesthesia Technician, Central Services Technician, Materials Management and Departmental Liaison. Her qualification includes twenty-four years management experience. She is currently employed at Texas Children’s Hospital as the Operating Room Support Services Manager. She has served Texas Children’s Hospital over 17 years. She is a member of the Interfaith Advisory Board at Texas Children’s Hospital. She has served as chairperson of the Martin Luther King Day festivities for Texas Children Hospital patients, employees and other contract staff.
Sheron believes she is her brother’s keeper. Her community service activities include:

- Share your Greatest need or desire.
- My greatest desire:For God to reveal a natural cure for HIV/AIDS. A cure that will allow the poor access to the resources without corporate or government intervention. It would be available like water, a natural resource.
- Last Question! What are some things that you would like to see happen with "The Prayer Chain Of Faith"?
- Personal observation-When you are waiting on a speaker, keep the audience engaged with music or words of encouragement. Most of your audience are working people possibly, all day we deal with distractions. I tune in to the Prayer Chain seeking the voice of God through a word from the speakers, as much as possible uninterrupted prayers from believers from around the world. Sometimes if there is too much chatter about the challenges with waiting on speakers to come on the air it can be a distraction. The question I have for you- What will encourage me to keep tuning in and inviting others to tune in when there are so many other choices?

Good afternoon sister jackson,
I need pray for my great nephew, the doctors say that there is no cure and his life expectancy is 6 months to a year. He is currently three months old with his parents in Bowie, MD. He has zellweger syndrome. Also pray for my cousin who just had an heart attack on Monday, April 1, 2013, she is in the hospital in MS. The families need your healing prays. We believe right now that he/she is both healed. God Bless, Shirley E., Wash., D.C.
