My name is Gloria King-Davis. I currently reside in Goldsboro, NC for the past 12 years. Prior to this, I lived in the state of New York for over 50 years. I am married to a kind and wonderful man for the past 21 years. I have one son and three grandchildren who reside in Hempstead, NY. My husband is a minister and I am very involved in the church working with the youth ministry. I attended college and received a Master Degree in Social Work. I am a retired social worker but worked over 30 years in the child welfare arena, foster care and adoption. My goal in life has always been to help others and to make sure their basic needs are met.

My greatest need is to have a lasting relationship with Jesus.

Share a testimony of prayer.

In 2007 I was admitted to the emergency room with pain in my shoulder. Several tests were done along with an ultrasound of the stomach. From this test I was diagnosed with legions all over my liver, so many legions that the doctor could not even see my liver. I was told to come back to the ER the next day to meet with an oncologist. My husband and I went home and prayed to Jesus to remove whatever the doctors had diagnosed. I met with the oncologist the next day and he could not find one legion on my liver. The doctor stated that he knew my liver was covered with legions but he did not know what had happened. My husband stated that it was Dr. Jesus who again worked his miracles.
