BIOGRAPHY



Pastor Bowers is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio and the daughter of Bishop Paul A. and the late Dr. Elma J. Bowers. Academically, Pastor Bowers has earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Master of Arts in Pastoral Care from The Claremont Colleges. She is in the process of completing her clinicals for her Doctorate in Ministry. In addition, she is certified by the American Association of Christian Counselors and an active Minister, originally ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.



Since receiving salvation at the age of 9 at Greater Emanuel Apostolic Temple, Cincinnati, Ohio, Pastor Bowers has faithfully served the church in many capacities. Some of her musical accomplishments are an accomplished musician (brass, woodwinds and strings), music orchestration (Founder of the Greater Emanuel Apostolic Temple Orchestra) and Music Director. In church leadership, she has served as Church Administrator, Administration and Financial Development, Youth Pastor, Evangelist and Bible Institute instructor.



Due to her inspired leadership, she has held many regional, state and national positions. She was Assistant Secretary for International Missionary and Christian Women’s Auxiliary of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. She has also served as the Minister of Music regionally and state wide. As an anointed preacher and teacher, she has ministered across the country and internationally. A short list of Pastor Bowers’ international travels includes Egypt, England, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Nigeria and Japan.



Professionally, Pastor Bowers possesses skills in financial consultation, portfolio management, charitable trust administration and radio announcement. She was the President of the Financial Education Institute, a not-for-profit organization. Recently, Pastor Bowers was employed by Crossroads Hospice as an Acute Care Hospice Chaplain. She also assisted with case management, community relations, policies and procedures and orientation.



Pastor Bowers’ vision extends beyond the walls of the church. While in Detroit, Michigan, she founded and secured funding for an after school tutorial and transitional housing program entitled Hand in Hand-Heart to Heart. There she developed a passion for community involvement and development. In 1999 and 2002 respectively, she founded the House of Love Family Care Home, an assisted living facility and The Deborah Company, a development conference for women of all ages. Both of these programs are now under the auspices of her newly formed community development corporation. She is now the Chief Executive Officer of the Remnant Vision Community Development Corporation, which is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH.



In December 2009, she became the Pastor of Ambassadors for Christ Family Worship Center (The Church of Remnant Believers), Orlando, Florida. She has dedicated her life to proclaiming the power of God to save, heal and deliver those who put their trust in Him. She is in the process of writing a book on “The Remnant Gift” as decreed in Jeremiah 23:3.

My greatest desire is to be a vehicle of Hope for those who have not come to the realization of the power that available to them through Faith!

Share a testimony of prayer.

I was called to the hospital to visit a member of the congregation who had experienced a tramatic injury. His CATScan showed not brain activity. After the Prayer of Faith...the young man began to talk. THey said he would never remember his wife children. I walked in the room and he called my name! Then they said he would never walk. They family brought him to church and we prayed. He is NOW>>> walking talking with full activity of his mind and body!
