Love so tender and so sweet
Oh where...oh where did love go?
Love did flow like a river with
The sounds of the rippling water
Among the lilies, hearing the chirping
birds singing and making melody
In the trees...but where are you my love?
It is as if you have gone on a long journey!
Yet I will not give up on love...so tender
And so sweet...but oh! How much does
It cost? Then I keep hearing the resounding
Answer loud and clearly...it cost Jesus his
Life on the cruel Cross of Calvary!

So my love I know that only with His love
We will triumph and soar above the storms.
I pray that soon you will return to love
So tender and so sweet...for love is awaiting
