The Prayer Chain Of Faith

These are simply nuggets by Donald Trump (American Billionaire Entrepreneur) into which I have made some little additions to spice it up. Get busy and apply these and watch your business or investment turn around.

For you to be successful in any venture, you have to;

  • Get Passionate: Passion is enthusiasm on a big scale, without it everything you do will fizzle or at best be mediocre. People with passion never give up because they never have a reason to. Passion is absolutely critical to achieving any kind of long-lasting success. It is an intangible momentum that can make you indomitable. How do you get passion; size up your interests-what do you love doing? Can I develop this into a viable source of income? Can I come up with a personal blueprint? Do I have a foundation in place? Cover your bases- The dividing line, very often between success and failure is lack of passion.
  • Be Tenacious: This is when you refuse to give up or give in, you keep fighting the good fight despite the odds and challenges against you. Tenacity is when you keep moving forward. Tenacity enables you work through obstacles and problems along the way without becoming worn down or negative. Sometimes the most talented people fail while those far less talented succeed. Why? Because those who succeed move forward with confidence.
  • Think Big: Thinking small limits your potential but thinking big brings out “the you in you”. Successful people love challenges, it keeps you moving forward with the momentum necessary for great achievement. Thinking big will take you places, thinking big will can get you to the top and it is not lonely there. Three tips to guide on thinking big; 1. Ask yourself why your plans are so small and begin to expand your horizon 2. Concentrate on managing your future not your past, learn from your past but don’t stay there 3. Look at the situation, don’t focus on the problem but see the solution in the process.
  • Leverage Knowledge: Knowledge is only the foundation of great enterprises, without imagination and the ability to visualize possibilities, what would be the point of great knowledge? Put imagination and knowledge together and in no time, you will have something pretty big in your “think big tank”. Imagination is more important than knowledge so whatever you need to do, get the experts together, ask questions on it and get the best from them.
  • Be thorough: There is nothing like knowing too much about what you do. Staying informed is a daily task & challenge considering how quickly our world is moving so resolve to move forward and learn as much as you can- today and every day. What and why, when and where, how and who are questions you should ensure that you find answers to so that your information is comprehensive and correct.
  • Take Action: Knowledge alone is not enough, you have to act on it. Learning by doing challenges you to prove yourself and never underestimate anything until you have tried it for yourself. The pros of any game make difficult maneuvers look so easy because they have spent hours perfecting their techniques.
  • Take Risks: Take risks, even if you fail because spectators are worse than losers. The perfect formula for failure is talking without action. Give yourself a challenge, not once in a while but every day by venturing, you will learn how much you didn’t know that is so important. There has never been an Olympic skater who hasn’t taken a spill on the ice, no matter how much, he/she knows skating. Skaters acquire their skills by doing not by watching.
  • Know Your Audience: Life is a performance so always think of yourself as a performer with a responsibility to your audience. Showmanship means being prepared for every performance. Acting encompasses people & negotiation skills, public relations, salesmanship and the ability to read your audience. The more prepared you are for every show, the more effective, you will be so learn, know and show, it is a proven formula.
  • Learn to Negotiate: Learning to negotiate is an invaluable tool if you hope to connect in any way with other people. It is not about calling the shots, it is the power to convince people to accept your ideas, so learn to balance passion with reason to negotiate successfully. Negotiation is one of keys to business and life, it is a personal diplomacy. To negotiate effectively, you have to know the strengths and weaknesses of your opponents. Don't rely on generalizations, find out for yourself. Bulldozing people into accepting your ideas is a recipe for disaster. Sometimes, you have to be a psychologist to figure out the best approach.
  • Listen to your Gut: Learning how to use your instincts is a mystery even to those with sharp business skills. Also learning how to handle your instincts can give you an edge in many situations, business or otherwise so listen to your gut and you will have a reliable guide. Have you noticed when you are in a situation that produces heightened alertness, how careful you are about what you say or do? Those are your instincts working for you. Together logic and instincts will help you make better decisions.
  • Enjoy Competition: Competition is meant to fire you up, it pushes you to expand and extend you efforts beyond what you think is possible. Competition forces you to outdo yourself at any given time and it ultimately makes you bigger because it pushes you to bring out the best in you.
  • Be your own Asset: Being a brand simply means that you are your own best asset, become your own best asset and adopt the mentality of an investor. Believe in whatever you put your name on and make sure it reflects who you truly are. Make decisions and take or delegate actions now that will bear fruit later. That’s the key to wealth creation, don’t jump @ best offers or slap your name on anything you think people might buy.
